Spalted Chestnut Coffee Stand

Designed for a couple who had just moved into their new apartment in Grand Canal Dock, this bespoke table was created to reflect the character of the area and anchor their living space with a meaningful focal point. The brief was simple: a piece that felt connected to its surroundings while offering everyday function and sculptural presence.

Éalú Bespoke developed a design that pulls inspiration from the lines, movement, and industrial heritage of the docklands. Crafted from solid timber, the table balances clean contemporary form with subtle detailing that references the water and architecture nearby. The result is a personal, site-specific piece that belongs to the home and tells the clients’ story through material and form.

This project demonstrates Éalú’s ability to design furniture rooted in place, memory, or environment, creating work that goes beyond function to reflect the client’s world.
